This policy sets out what ISTEFAN CONSULTING LLC collects through istefanconsulting.digital, why we collect it, how long it stays with us, and how you can ask us to change or delete it. Information we collect

We collect two kinds of information from visitors, and we treat them differently because they do different work for us.

The first is what you give us directly. When you write through the contact form or send an email, that message reaches us with your name, your email address, your company name if you include it, and whatever you choose to describe about your situation. We keep the message itself because it is the record of what you asked and what we answered.

The second is technical information your browser sends automatically: browser type, device type, an approximate location derived from your IP address, the pages you opened, and how long you stayed. This data is not tied to your identity in our records. We use it to keep the site running, to spot broken pages, and to understand which parts of the site visitors actually read.

We do not ask for financial account numbers, government identification numbers, or health information through this website. If a consulting engagement later requires that kind of material, we request it directly and explain what we need it for before you send anything.

How we use information

Your inquiry

Answering you, and deciding whether we can help

We read your message, reply to it, and use it to judge whether our practice fits the problem you described. If we are not the right firm for the work, we say so. If the conversation continues, we use the same details to correspond about a potential or active engagement — scheduling calls, sharing what we need from you, and keeping a record of what was agreed.

We do not use your details to build a marketing profile, and we do not enroll you in a mailing list because you asked one question.

Site operation

Security, diagnosis, and reading habits

Technical logs help us keep the site available, detect abusive traffic, and find pages that fail to load. Aggregate reading data tells us which sections are useful. Neither use requires knowing who you are.

What we do not do

We do not sell personal information. We do not rent it to data brokers. We do not make automated decisions about you that produce legal effects — every judgment about whether to take on an engagement is made by a person reading your message. If that ever changes for a specific process, this page will say so before it happens.

Legal bases and consent

Where applicable law requires a stated basis for processing, we rely on the following. If you are unsure which one applies to you, write to us and we will explain it in plain terms.

You may withdraw consent at any time by contacting us. Withdrawal does not affect processing that already happened, and it may limit what we are able to answer — if you ask us to stop using your email address, we cannot reply to that same address.

  • Consent

When you submit the contact form, you consent to us using the details in it to respond to you.

  • Steps you request

Processing needed to answer your inquiry, prepare a proposal, or take the first steps toward an engagement you asked about.

  • Legitimate interest

Running a professional services website securely and keeping it available to the people who need it.

  • Legal obligation

Retaining business correspondence where professional or tax rules require us to keep a record.

Sharing and disclosure

We do not share personal information with third parties for their own marketing purposes. The narrow cases below are the only ones in which information leaves our hands.

Service providers

Hosting, email delivery, and website analytics providers that help the site function. They act on our instructions and are bound by confidentiality obligations. They are not permitted to use your information for their own purposes.

Legal requirements

We may disclose information when the law requires it, in response to a lawful request, or where disclosure is needed to protect our rights and the rights of others.

Business changes

If the firm's ownership or structure changes, records of past communications may transfer as part of that change. This policy would continue to apply until a revised version is posted here.

Data retention

Contact inquiries

Kept for as long as needed to respond and to maintain a record of business communications. If nothing follows from the inquiry, we do not keep it indefinitely.

Engagement records

Where an engagement follows, related records are retained according to professional and legal requirements, which can be longer than the inquiry itself.

Technical logs

Held for a limited period for security and diagnostic purposes, then deleted or aggregated so that individual visits are no longer identifiable.

When information is no longer needed for any of these purposes, it is deleted or anonymized. If you want to know what we hold about you, the section below explains how to ask.

Your rights

Depending on where you live, you may have the right to access the personal information we hold about you, to correct it if it is wrong, to ask us to delete it, to restrict how we process it, and to object to certain processing. You may also have the right to receive a copy of what you provided in a portable format.

To make a request, write to [email protected] or send a letter to ISTEFAN CONSULTING LLC, 321 NE 26th St, Unit 601, Miami, FL 33137, USA. Tell us what you want changed and how we can reach you to confirm the request. We will respond within the timeframe required by applicable law. We may need to verify your identity before acting, so that we do not disclose information to the wrong person.

If you believe your information has been handled unlawfully, you may lodge a complaint with the supervisory authority in your jurisdiction. We would rather hear from you first, so that we have the chance to fix the problem directly.

Security

We use reasonable administrative and technical measures to protect the information described in this policy. Those measures include limiting who inside the firm can read inquiry records and keeping software and hosting up to date.

No method of transmission over the internet or of electronic storage is completely secure, and we cannot guarantee absolute security. If you believe your information has been compromised through this site, contact us immediately so we can investigate and tell you what we find.

Children's privacy

This site is built for business users and is not directed at children. We do not knowingly collect personal information from children through istefanconsulting.digital.

If you believe a child has provided information through this site, contact us and we will delete it. Tell us which message or form was used so we can find the record quickly.

International visitors

ISTEFAN CONSULTING LLC operates from the United States. If you access this site from outside the United States, your information may be transferred to and processed in the United States, where data protection laws may differ from those in your jurisdiction. We handle transferred information under this policy wherever it is processed.

Where a transfer requires additional safeguards, we put those in place before moving the information. You can ask us which safeguards apply to your data by writing to the address in the contact section of this policy.

Changes to this policy

We may update this Privacy Policy from time to time — when our tools change, when the law changes, or when we find a clearer way to describe what we do.

The revised version will be posted on this page with an updated effective date at the top. Continued use of the site after changes are posted constitutes acceptance of the revised policy. If a change meaningfully affects how we handle information you already sent us, we will say so directly in the notice.
